The increasing sophistication of the reliefs in ceramic tiles (according to the degrees introduced earlier: low, medium, and high) has made it possible to create increasingly striking decorations.
Why choose handcrafted ceramics?
Regarding design strategies, the following stand out: texture, shape, and surface volume. On the other hand, continuous white glazing has proven to be the most popular type of finish. Combinations of formulas used for these decorative coatings are also common, but most of them consist of combinations of geometric shapes, such as squares, circles, hexagons, etc.
This also allows for different games of light and shadow. Today, examples of the use of these reliefs can be seen in common spaces in homes, such as ceilings, dynamic details on bedroom walls, or the front of the kitchen.
